Joanne Castranova Schwartz

Joanne was born on May 6, 1944, to Anne and Angelo Castranova in Rochester, NY, where she spent her youth and met her husband.  She was a devoted mother to her son, Lawrence, dedicating much of his early years to caring for him. 

As a dedicated wife and mother, she moved often with her family living in Upstate, NY, Southern Maryland, Long Island, NY and Southern California. Following her husband’s career. Once her son was older, her giving soul directed her to give back to the community and she became a teacher of religious studies at Cornelia Connelly Catholic High School for girls in Anaheim, California. The last decades have been spent with her husband in their home in Anaheim Hills, CA.

Joanne had a gentle heart to all she met, making them bookmarks and other gifts throughout her lifetime. 

Joanne is survived by her devoted husband (Lawrence S. Schwartz III), her loving son (Lawrence S. Schwartz IV) and his wife (Allison), her grandchildren (Cecilia and Evan) and her sister (Bonnie).
